Why Legara Rights exists
There is a large gap between 'I have a problem and don't understand my rights' and 'I need to instruct a solicitor'. This service sits in that gap.
A great deal of useful information is already published — in legislation, regulations, government guidance and regulator publications. The difficulty is rarely that the information does not exist. The difficulty is that it is long, scattered and written for specialists.
Our purpose
We help members of the public understand information that is already publicly available, understand their general rights and the procedures that apply, and identify the possible next steps open to them.
Our limits
Legara Rights is not a law firm and is not a firm of solicitors. We do not provide legal advice, formal legal opinions, legal representation or any reserved legal activity, and we do not provide regulated immigration advice.

Why this service was created: I founded Legara Rights with a simple purpose: to make legal and rights information clearer, more accessible and easier to navigate. With an LLB (Hons) in Law and experience across legal support, paralegal work and Citizens Advice, I have seen how confusing legal terminology, official correspondence and unfamiliar processes can be — especially when someone is unsure where to turn next.
At Legara Rights, my focus is on providing clear, practical information and guidance that helps people better understand their rights, make sense of official information and identify appropriate next steps. I believe people should be able to access trustworthy, understandable information without feeling overwhelmed by complexity or unnecessary legal jargon. Where a matter requires individual legal advice, representation or another regulated service, clients are encouraged to seek support from an appropriately authorised professional.
Professional Background
My professional background combines legal education, practical legal support and experience helping individuals understand complex information and processes.
I hold an LLB (Hons) in Law and have experience across:
- Paralegal and legal support work — Including reviewing information, legal research, correspondence and supporting legal matters.
- Citizens Advice — Where I supported individuals with benefits and welfare-related enquiries and helped people understand their rights, available information and relevant processes.
- Commercial and property-related legal work — Providing practical experience with legal documents, procedures and client communication.
- Governance, risk and compliance — Strengthening my understanding of regulation, policies, procedures and organisational responsibilities.
- Operations and project management — Giving me a practical, structured approach to helping people navigate complicated situations and identify appropriate next steps.
